In support of Indigenous student well-being and achievement, CBE schools are encouraged to share this exciting opportunity with Indigenous students aged 12–16, and their families.

The Calgary Police Service is hosting its second annual Indigenous Junior Police Academy, a unique summer experience designed to give youth a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to be a police officer. Participants will engage with specialized units including the Mounted Unit, HAWCS helicopters, Canine Unit, and the Indigenous Relations Team. This is a valuable opportunity for Indigenous students to build leadership skills, explore future career paths, and connect with community role models.
