Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are writing to inform you of an adjustment to our school’s daily bell schedule following the system-wide review by CBE Transportation Services.

As part of their annual review of bell times across the division, Transportation Services adjusts school schedules to maximize bus pairing efficiencies and achieve system-wide cost savings. Even a single bus travelling to a school can determine a school’s start and end times. This review applies to all schools, including those without yellow bus service and those whose students use regular Calgary Transit routes.

Following this review, our school has been assigned the following bell times, effective the 2026-27 school year.

• Morning Start: 8:37 a.m.
• Lunch: 12:41 p.m.
• Afternoon Dismissal: 3:00 p.m.
• Early Dismissal (Fridays): 12:30 p.m.

Bell times are reviewed annually by Transportation. When changes are identified, they are communicated to principals and education directors with as much notice as possible

We understand that adjustments to the school day may require changes to family routines, and we appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we align with system requirements. Please note that our school website and profile will be updated to reflect these approved bell times.
