Effective immediately, Dr. Martha Cohen School no longer requires an overflow to Mountain Park School or Dr. George Stanley School. The school is expected to be able to accommodate all students from its designated attendance area for the 2025-26 school year and beyond. Additionally, a lottery will not be required for incoming students in the 2026-27 school year. 

For several years, Dr. Martha Cohen School operated at capacity and students who could not be accommodated were designated to Dr. George Stanley School and Mountain Park School. Enrolment in the Dr. Martha Cohen attendance area has stabilized and is expected to decline slightly in future years. 

Students from Copperfield School and New Brighton School who are currently attending Mountain Park School and Dr. George Stanley Schools may remain at the schools as out of attendance area students until they age out of the school.  However, all transportation from the Copperfield community to Dr. George Stanley School and from the New Brighton community to Mountain Park School will end on June 26, 2026.
