Warm Feet for the Street - Student's Helping Less Fortunate Calgarians

This December, Dr. Martha Cohen is participating in a fundraiser called Warm Feet for the Streets, through the Mustard Seed. This fundraiser will benefit people who experience poverty or are
experiencing homelessness. The whole idea is to get students to bring in essential items people desperately need.

These items include: warm socks, toothbrush and toothpaste, soap, lip balm, gif cards, combs, small shampoo, razers, first aid kits, hair ties, and bus passes.

To help motivate students to bring in items, we will be having a competition between classes to bring in the most items. The winning class will get a pizza party! We have also set a school wide goal of 1000 items. Students are encouraged to bring in items to their homeroom teacher before winter break. Thank you for your support!
