Welcome back, Dr. Martha Cohen students and families! I hope everyone had a restful, refreshing, and meaningful Spring Break. Whether your time was spent travelling, catching up with family and friends, or simply enjoying a change of pace, we are excited to re‑connect and begin the final stretch of the school year together.

As we return, this period marks an important final push in learning, growth, and community connection. Over the coming weeks, students will have opportunities to consolidate their learning, demonstrate progress, and challenge themselves both academically and personally. Consistent attendance, strong work habits, and staying engaged in class will make a big difference as we head toward the end of the year.

At this time, we are encouraging students to focus on:

  • Responsibility and organization – staying on top of assignments, deadlines, and materials
  • Perseverance – asking for help when needed and continuing to put forth their best effort
  • Positive relationships – showing kindness, respect, and inclusion in all learning spaces
  • Personal goals – reflecting on progress and setting intentions for a successful finish to the year

This is also a time when our school culture matters more than ever. Let’s continue to demonstrate our shared values by making good choices, following expectations, and contributing positively to our classrooms, hallways, and common spaces. When we work together, our school truly shines.

Thank you to our families for your ongoing support and partnership, and to our staff for their dedication to guiding and supporting our students each day. We are proud of the growth we see and excited about what lies ahead.

Let’s make the most of this final stretch and finish the year strong—together.
